We offer free exchanges for incorrect sizing, we are very passionate about your clothing fitting well and want you to love your linen as much as we do. As of July 1, 2023 we will only offer a store credit if you can't find the perfect fit.

This is one of the trickiest parts of online shopping, right?

We try and make it as easy as possible by including a size chart on every product page, and notes if a shirt runs a little large and we suggest you size down.

But if that doesn't answer your question, you know you can always email us for advice - Outback Linen Co. is a small business, that means we actually WANT to talk to our customers and help them out.

So fire away, we can send you measurements, extra pics, whatever you need to help you make your choice.

Towels

The lifespan of towels can vary depending on several factors such as usage, care, and quality.

On average, it is recommended to replace your towels every 1-3 years. However, there are a few signs that indicate it may be time for a towel refresh.

If your towels have become frayed, thin, or have lost their absorbency, it's a good indication that they need to be replaced.

Additionally, if you notice any unpleasant odours or signs of wear and tear, it's best to invest in new towels for optimal hygiene and comfort.

Remember, regular washing and proper care can extend the life of your towels, but eventually, they will need to be replaced to maintain their functionality and freshness.

Zero-twist towels offer a combination of superior absorbency, quick drying, softness, durability, and reduced linting.

They provide a luxurious and functional addition to your bath towels, enhancing your bathing experience and adding a touch of indulgence to your daily routine.

By opting for organic cotton, you not only choose a healthier and safer option for yourself but also contribute to a more sustainable and ethical fashion and textile industry.

It's a step towards promoting environmental stewardship, supporting farmers and workers, and enjoying high-quality, comfortable products.

  1. Use the Right Detergent: Choose a gentle, mild detergent specifically formulated for towels. Avoid using harsh detergents or fabric softeners that can leave residue and make towels less absorbent over time.
  2. Wash in Warm Water: Wash your towels in warm water, as hot water can cause them to lose their softness. Warm water effectively cleanses the towels while preserving their fluffiness.
  3. Avoid Overloading the Washer: Overloading the washing machine can prevent towels from agitating properly and getting thoroughly cleaned. Give them enough space to move freely and ensure a thorough wash.
  4. Skip the Fabric Softener: While fabric softeners can provide a temporary softness, they can also leave a residue on towels that reduces their absorbency over time. Instead, use vinegar as a natural fabric softener by adding half a cup to the rinse cycle.
  5. Tumble Dry on Low Heat: After washing, tumble dry your towels on low heat or choose the air-dry option. High heat can damage the fibres and make towels rough. Add a couple of dryer balls or clean tennis balls to the dryer to fluff up the towels.
  6. Avoid Overdrying: Overdrying towels can lead to stiffness. Remove them from the dryer when they are slightly damp to retain their softness. If needed, you can hang them to air dry completely.
  7. Shake and Fluff: Once your towels are dry, give them a good shake and fluff to restore their softness. This helps loosen the fibres and adds volume to the towel.
  8. Store Properly: Store your towels in a dry, well-ventilated area to prevent them from becoming musty or damp. Avoid overcrowding them in the linen closet to maintain their fluffiness.
