The Fit

Relaxed through the body, refined at the shoulder, easy to wear without losing shape. Sizes 6–24, graded at every size, and cut oversized, so take your usual size for a relaxed fit or size down for a closer fit through the bust. The full button-down front means it layers open over a tee or buttons up and tucks in, and it's breastfeeding-friendly — one of the few shirts that genuinely works both ways. Long sleeves with a proper cuff: roll them for summer, wear them down for sun cover or under a knit. Lightweight denim with gold embroidery, breathable and softening with every wear, made for all-day comfort.

About the Fabric
Denim Embroidered Gold Stitch
Lightweight woven denim — structured enough to hold its shape, light enough to wear through spring. Breathable, and it softens against you with wear rather than staying stiff. The embroidery is stitched into the weave, not printed on, so it won't crack or fade out. Denim like this only gets better with time.
Care
Good denim is strong, low-fuss, and only gets better with time. Give her a little care and she'll stay by your side for years. Wash with care. Cold gentle cycle or hand wash, always inside out, with like colours. Skip the harsh stuff — no bleach, no strong detergents, no fabric softener. Wash less. Denim doesn't need washing every wear. Air her out between wears and she'll hold her colour and shape far longer. Dry with love. Line dry in the shade or lay flat. Direct sun fades her, and the dryer is too much heat for the embroidery. Mind the stitching. Turn her inside out for washing and ironing — it protects the embroidery from catching in the drum or under the plate. Smooth it out. A quick steam or warm iron inside out keeps her shape crisp without flattening the texture. Store smart. Fold or hang in a cool, dry space. Denim loves breathing room. Denim softens and shapes to you over time — that's her character, not a flaw. The more you wear her, the better she gets.

Steph is an artist and designer based in Perth, creating on Whadjuk Noongar land. Her practice began with a love of painting and pattern-making, something she did for the joy of it and slowly grew into full-time work. She's a mum to two young children, and she designs the way she lives: around real days, real hands, and colour that comes from somewhere.

Three years into working with us, Steph's designs sit behind some of the pieces you love most: Rural Outback, Flora, and Lady Jane. It's a collaboration built on something we both believe: that what you wear should reflect who you actually are.
