Fabrication

Our pieces start where all good things do, on country. Outback Linen uses only 100% natural fibres, custom-dyed to echo the colours of this land: the burnt spinifex, the desert dusk, the storm rolling in.

Every thread is crafted with intention. From ethically-sourced flax to premium, chemical-free processes that respect both skin and soil. Our linen breathes with you, moves with you, and softens over time like a favourite story.

This isn’t fast fashion. This is clothing built to go the distance… through muddy paddocks, city streets, long drives, and lazy Sundays. We make pieces that last, because you deserve a wardrobe that does too.

When you wear Outback Linen, you’re not just putting on a shirt or a dress, you’re stepping into something bigger: thoughtful design, slow style, and the kind of quality that feels like home. Our‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ pieces are made from the best things that country has to offer. Outback Linen fabrics are made from only 100% natural fibres that are custom-dyed to reflect the colours of the earth: the burnt spinifex, the desert dusk, and the storm rolling in.

Every single thread is done with a lot of intention. The flax is ethically-sourced and the linen is of the highest quality, made in chemical-free processes that are both skin and eco-friendly. Our linen is a living fabric, it shares your body heat, your movements, and becomes softer with each use just like a favourite story.

Outback Linen is slow-made clothing designed for long wear — through muddy paddocks, city streets, long drives and lazy Sundays. We make pieces that last, because you are worthy of a wardrobe that does too.

Wearing Outback Line connects you with something bigger: thoughtful design, slow style, and a level of quality that feels like home.

Care Instructions

Good‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ linen is durable, easy, and becomes even better with time. However, if you give her a little TLC, she’ll be loyal to you forever.

  1. These are the ways to maintain your Outback Linen in a look and feel of the first time:
  2. Kindness in washing. Cold, gentle cycle or hand wash. Don’t use harsh stuff. Bleach is definitely not for your linen, even if it is the toughest.
  3. Let it dry gently. Drying flat in the shade is the best option, or hanging it somewhere where the sun will not fade her colour. If you really want to tumble, low and slow should be the setting.
  4. Iron or steaming. Doing a quick iron on low with a little dampness still left gives your linen crisp lines and no fuss.
  5. Think ahead when storing. Folding it, keeping it cool and away from the sun is the way to go. Linen likes to breathe.
  6. Linen will inevitably fold, that’s what we call character. But in case you want it glossy, a light pressing will do. Just don’t be nervous. This fabric was designed to be lived ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌in
