Our pieces start where all good things do, on country. OutbackLinen is made from only 100% natural fibres that are custom dyed to reflect the colours of nature: the burnt spinifex, the desert dusk, the storm rolling in.
We source our flax ethically and treat it through a premium, chemical-free process that’s gentle on both skin and earth. Our linen is alive and it will breathe with you, it will move with you, and it will become softer like a favourite story over time.
We make clothing for real life and long wear, carried through muddy paddocks, city streets, long drives, and lazy Sundays.

Care Instructions
Good linen is durable, simple, and becomes more attractive with time. However, if you give her a little care, she will be your lover forever.
Here is the way to maintain your Outback Linen as good as new in look and feel:
Be kind when washing. Cold, gentle cycle or hand wash. Do not use any harsh stuff. Your linen is strong enough; she doesn’t need bleach.
Make it soft after drying. Nothing is better than drying flat in the shade, or hanging it where the sun cannot fade her. If you tumble, low and slow should be your setting.
Glide a hot utensil or let a machine do the work. A fast low iron when the fabric is still slightly damp results in neat lines without any hassle.
Think ahead when storing. Folding it, keeping it cool and away from the sun is the way linen likes it. Linen loves breathing room.
Linen will unavoidably fold, that is what we call character. However, if you ever want it refined, a light pressing is enough. Just don’t worry. This fabric was made to live in.
