At Outback Linen, supporting emerging artists is at the forefront of what we do.

By empowering regional artisans, we contribute to a positive future for rural makers to be seen on a larger scale - ethically, with a return into the Australian economy. With a deep passion for handfinished craftsmanship, Outback Linen proudly showcases handpainted designs on our garments by exclusively Australian artists.

Stephanie Perrins

Stephanie Perrins is an artist and designer creating on Whadjuk Noongar land, and a mother of two whose work blends emotion, nostalgia, and the raw beauty of the Australian landscape. With a background in graphic design and a lifelong love of painting, Stephanie has created many exclusive designs for Outback Linen Co — including the signature Flora print — each hand-crafted to reflect the colours, textures, and stories of rural and outback Australia. Her expressive style brings depth, warmth, and a sense of place to every piece, celebrating nature, memory, and the quiet strength of regional life.

Lordie Dordy

Lordie Dordy is a rural Australian artist whose vibrant, playful style brings joy and nostalgia to life through bold colour and whimsical detail. A proud collaborator with Outback Linen Co, she is the creator of the hand-painted Gingham print — a fresh, expressive take on a timeless classic, inspired by country charm and the laid-back spirit of the outback. Her work celebrates creativity, connection, and the beauty of everyday moments.

Emily Crowther

Emily Crother is a rural-based pattern designer and the creative force behind Gigi Pattern Print, a growing design studio bringing vibrant, artful prints to life from the heart of the countryside. With a love for bold colour, layered texture, and storytelling through design, Emily creates unique, hand-drawn patterns that reflect the charm, resilience, and beauty of rural living. Her work blends artistic expression with surface design, offering a fresh take on modern country style while staying rooted in authenticity and place.

Designed in rural Australia

Taken to the world in 2019, Outback Linen Co. was established by financier and rural stalwart Sarah Henney who maintains a strong passion for providing ethical, sustainable, size inclusive and organic garment options from regional Australia, to the world.

Sustainably produced, luxury linen

Above all things, Outback Linen Co promotes a full-circle, sustainable and slow approach to textile use. Utilising only organic linen and ethical trade practices, Outback Linen Co honours eco-friendly consumption in all forms.

Supporting local artisans & businesses

Outback Linen Co celebrates the many hands that make up the brilliant, multi-faceted tapestry that is the Australian bush small business scene. By supporting Outback Linen Co, you are providing support for small businesses Australia-wide.
